Mini Cupcakes Retro Bop

Well, I wish every gig we had was in a 2 mile radius from my house... That would make the life of a Cupcake a lot happier!

Tonight we were delighted to make a guest appearance, in Edinburgh, at St George's School for Girls, at their charity event.

The girls were putting on a Retro Bop, with music and costumes ranging from 1940's to the present day. The girls sure went to town with their costumes and every single one of them looked as cute as a button. The teachers were just as impressive, showing even stuffy teachers can have a Punk side!
For our costumes, we stuck to what we do best, our 40's Army gear and everyone seemed very impressed!

The girls were perfect hosts, making us feel incredibly welcome... well, apart from scoffing the cakes before we could get near them. Locusts comes to mind :)

All handmade by a very talented mum, aren't they lucky!

So we hope to be visiting the girls again soon, but this time girls, please leave us some cakes!

p.s. Our beautiful silk scarves were a very thoughtful gift, we will wear them with fond memories!
